CID at Symposium 2010 of the “ARD.ZDF Medienakademie” and the “Institut für Rundfunktechnik” from 23rd – 24th June 2010

Experts from different broadcasting sectors as well as from other branches of trade will be informing about possibilities of business process management during the two-day symposium which will be taking place in Leipzig from 23rd – 24th June.
Editorial departments and branches of production are confronted with the challenge to react quicker upon changes in the broadcasting market. To fulfill these requirements they need process oriented organizations which are supported in terms of adequate IT solutions.
CID and the subsidiary company Pattern Science AG will participate as exhibitor and present solutions that support editorial departments and branches of production. In terms of semantic technologies it can be searched within archives and in the WEB, topics and trends can be analyzed, researches and analysis can be made as well as data content can be published in automated processes. A special highlight is the semantic recommendation of television programs within electronic program magazines. Technologies of natural language processing, the usage of ontology’s and “Semantic Web” as well as pattern matching processes (Machine Learning) support the utilization of existing data in an efficient way.
The event approaches the decision makers of editorial departments, production and technology as well as operators, editors, system-planers and IT specialist in the field of TV, radio and online. More than 100 participants from the above mentioned divisions have already registered for the event.
